MOSAIC Volunteer Programs

WITH MOSAIC

Summary

MOSAIC offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities that support immigrants and newcomers as they settle and build their lives in Canada. Although general volunteer registration is currently paused due to capacity, several structured programs remain open, including Workplace Connections Mentoring, Culture Connections Social Mentoring, and Language Centre Volunteering. These programs allow volunteers to share their skills, learn new ones, and make meaningful connections with people from around the world. MOSAIC emphasizes training, community involvement, cultural exchange, and the opportunity to directly impact newcomer success in Metro Vancouver.

Volunteers play a hands-on role in empowering clients—whether by mentoring immigrant professionals preparing for the Canadian workplace or by supporting English language learning through LINC classes. The organization welcomes volunteers from diverse backgrounds, including youth (14+), seniors, professionals, newcomers, and international students. Each stream offers training and ongoing support, ensuring volunteers feel confident and well-equipped while contributing to a welcoming community for newcomers.
